Alexandra TCHOUKLEVA

Alexandra TCHOUKLEVA

I was born on 25 April 1987 in Sofia, Bulgaria. I’m a single child and I have spent all my childhood in Sofia, where I also studied in an international school. During my high school years I participated twice in exchange programs in Brighton, where I started practicing horse riding and now I’m in love with this sport. I came to Paris 3 years ago. My major in AUP is International Economics and I’m also doing a minor in Applied Mathematics. I have always liked subjects that are very logical and organized which is why I chose economics. I have worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Bulgaria for two consecutive summers for three months in their financial departments. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, do ski, dance and cook. I’m also really interested in fashion.

Galia KRAICHEVA

Galia KRAICHEVA

I'm Galia, juniour at AUP. I study Politics and Economics + a minor in mathematics. Here at AUP I tutor for some classes and I also participate in AUP Politics Association because its fun. Before I came to Paris I was a dancer and I had to make a choice whether I want to become a stomach surgent, a singer or an economist... well, not that I have yet decided. We'll see. Otherwise, I LOVE dancing and healthy things, I enjoy running and participating in NGOs. And this is what I have been doing for all my life and I will continue doing! I am coming from mathematical high school and I am planning to do economics after AUP so in the meanwhile, if you have questions on maths or econ, come to ask me! See you! :)

Rachael LEVY

Rachael LEVY

Hello! I'm Rachael. I'm originally from Florida. All throughout high school, I loved learning French. When I moved to France, I decided to learn it as best as I could, and now, after years of classes in the States and two years here, I think that I finally have a good comprehension of the language. I'm double-majoring in International and Comparative Politics and French Studies at AUP. I know French can be especially hard for AUP students, especially when their majors and minors are not in French and when they have never taken French classes before. In a university where some students are also perfecting their English at the same time, extra tutoring is sometimes needed. This is why I decided to become an ARC tutor. I love that I can come here and help others, and I can also find help for the subjects that are not my forte (at the moment, this happens to be microeconomics and 20th century diplomacy). Since French is not my native language, I'm familiar with the problems French-learners face. I try to help as best I can, so come visit me at the ARC during my scheduled hours, or contact me through my AUP email and I will arrange a specific time that works for both of us. A bientot!

After AUP, I hope to continue my education doing a masters in Interactive Media at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Tahsina KABIR

Tahsina KABIR

Hey, everyone! I'm Tahsina, more so known as 'Tess' or 'Taz.' I graduated from Hanoi International School in Vietnam last year and this is only my second semester at AUP. But it doesn't take long to get accustomed to the AUP environment due to the existence of such bonhomie and openness. I'm majoring in International and Comparative Politics, and minoring in Applied Math. This semester, I am your TA for Applied Statistics so if any of you ever need help with the course, just drop by (during my office hours, on Wednesday Period 5) and I'd be more than happy to help!
